Chris Parker started at Fude as a fairly quiet and shy guy, this was not the real Chris, the real Chris had a well timed quip and a positive attitude which rubbed off on all kitchen partners.
Leaving us to work at a family camp in the summer of 2007, he wanted to see what else he could do! In February 2008 we asked him back giving him more responsibility and a more challenging role in the Fude team, and we gave it to him!
Chris is now working as our full time prep person. Starting at 7:00 am Chris handles the ordering, the prepping of all our local fresh flavor, and the amazing freshly baked bread. This job is not for the light hearted, it requires organization, talent, a positive attitude, and an eye for detail and Chris has shown this with his incredible amount of dedication and pride in his work. Chris Parker is the only man who has the best of both worlds, working with food, full time and having evenings off.
Felipe Fernandez - Started at Fude November 2010
Felipe Fernandez came to Winnipeg to from Chile to study in Red River Culinary Arts program.
After graduating from Culinary Arts in Chile and Azafran Cuisine School in Argentina he needed to know more! Filipe loves what he does; cooking is a clearly evident passion for him. He works full time at another restaurant during the day and then part time at Fude!
His goal and objective is to obtain experience and new knowledge about cooking.
Filipe is a manly man the strong silent type, when he’s at work he doesn’t say much he put’s his head down and produces amazing quality food.
